(More customer reviews)this is perfect safe for any responsible pistol owner. it uses a simple keyed lock and does not require any batteries or electrical connections. for its size it is fairly heavy and any side of the safe can be mounted for hidden storage virtually anywhere. a big plus is that the entire interior is covered in foam so 'no worries' about scratching your favorite sidearm. i keep a full size .40 auto, a paddle holster, spare mag, two 100-round boxes of ammo, and there's still a little bit of room left for cash, passports, etc.
