(More customer reviews)The is a fairly large plastic pump. The handle is plastic and inserts into a plastic hole with ridges. Attempting to turn the handle is very stiff and clunky. It doesn't turn smoothly. It takes a lot of effort to get this thing to actually pump. I got mine to siphon gas from my car during snow storms only to learn that all new cars have anti-siphon screens and you can't do it. Basically all I use this for is draining lawn mower,generator, and tractor gas for winter storage. Frankly I have another hand pump that is far superior so this one will get little use till the other wears out. I would not recommend this device --its a crude tool.
